This worked very well for a kettle that had not been cleaned in awhile. It was very easy to disolve and use in the kettle. Had to adjust the amount used since it was being used in a 4 oz kettle. Called the company and they were very helpful in adjusting the amout of Heat N Kleen to use for the small kettle.

Kettle was very much in need of cleaning. This product did the job. Will purchase again. Talking from painful experience :-) . . . Don't fill kettle much higher than half full of the mixture. It can boil over fairly suddenly. Helpful precaution. . . before you start, place a container below the kettle that can handle hot liquid to avoid a time consuming clean-up.
