Cosco has been making these type of stolls for years..the quality has really gone down hill..My grandmother and mom had one of these in thier homes. I wouldn't ever use this to stand on..not to comphy to sit on either..the seat is kinda of small..i am not a big person..Just over all really disappointed in the stool..shopped all over looking for the red one..So happy to see that you had it..Sorry but so happy I paid your price for it and not some of the others that I came across.

Really love the chair. My youngish sons put it together with ease. It feels very sturdy and looks great.
The I prefer for the step-pull out braces to be constructed completely of metal rather than plastic.
Best price I found anywhere on the internet.
