OK but BIG Cautions,

CONS/CAUTIONS: 1. Apparently there are two versions of the manual - one has the anchoring step near the beginning (pg 22), the other at the end. DO NOT anchor this shed until it's built and the doors are leveled (we got the manual with the huge mistake - Lifetime's customer service even said they were surprised we were able to get the side panels to snap in place). The bad manual is fine as long as you do the anchoring at the very end. 2. This is NOT a 5-6 hour 2-person job as some reviews have said - I even wonder if they work for the company. One person needs to be fairly large with good strength. Two men (one is at least 6'7" and very strong) took nearly 10 hours. 3. MAKE SURE the pad or wood frame base is level before you begin to build. 4. Like another reviewer, I'm concerned about high winds. The sides all snap down into the base (plastic into plastic), and pop out somewhat easily (as learned during the leveling process to get the doors aligned). There is nothing stronger than the plastic to hold it down, making the anchor bolts into the concrete somewhat of a joke - at least the floor will stay in place! LOL
With all that said, now that it's finally up and in use, I'm quite pleased (just hoping we don't have too much wind - hah! we have plenty of thunderstorms and occasional remnants of hurricanes). We've already had a good rain, and there was only one tiny leak. The manual is reasonably good (could be better) EXCEPT for the major error on when to anchor it. All the parts were there, and we're pleased with the quality (except for there being no decent anchor for the walls - it could be popped out of the base easily, I suspect, in high winds).
Would I buy it again? No. The plastic snaps as tie-downs for the walls are a huge negative. We'll see how it holds up to high winds.... But if it does, I'll be quite pleased with the shed overall.

Instructions for assembling this little building are excellent. Because parts are plastic and flexible, they did not always line up really well; but on the other hand, the flexibility enabled me to line them up, with some coaxing of course. It takes the better part of a weekend to do the assembly. The building is very sturdy and utile.

Great Shed for the Money!,

I looked at a smaller version of this shed at one of the Big Box Lumber Stores, but ordered from Sam's Club because of the larger size, similar price, and inclusion of delivery in price.
I put the building up myself in about 5 hours. Instructions were very straight forward and all parts were labeled well.

Great little shed,

It is a nice size and sturdy. It took us longer to put together than we thought it would. One concern we have is that our New Mexico winds could blow the shed off of the floor, which is anchored to the foundation, but the walls are only snapped into place to the floor -- not screwed or anchored any other way.

This was a huge online purchase for us, but it was very good. My review is consistent with all the others. About 12 hours over 4 days to build the platform and total construction. I was actually able to get most of the assembly done by myself but the roof "shingles" is definitely a two person job. No way that can be done by one person. You will have to spend an additional $180 or so for treated wood to build a platform. Make sure that it is level. I was slightly off in one corner and that approximate 1/4 inch made me pay for leaving it when I was putting the roof on. The plastic construction looks better than my neighbor's metal one already, and we are very pleased with that. The shelving makes extra room in the shed and the 8x10 may not sound like alot of room but its good for the weekend DIYer to keep the garage clutter free. This will last for awhile.
My only gripe, really if any, was spending the extra money on wood for the platform. But really, if you want to set up anyt ype of shed in the back, its something you have to do anyway.

i did a lot of research on this size shed and it has the best headroom for the 8x10 size. if you want the wider ratio 10x8 you can get the double door one on the side and one on the front garden shed. it was awesome to put together 4-5 hours assembly with 3 people...unlike the horror stories i read with metal sheds. GREAT HEADROOM inside and tall doors. use decompossed granite for the foundation works great!

We looked long and hard before purchasing a new shed and investigated many options (metal, wood, ready made, self build) and were very impressed when our Lifetime shed arrived. It was very easy to construct - all parts were included and fit together really well. Since we have a very small backyard, completely fenced, we were most happy to discover that almost all the construction could be done from "inside". We are competent D-I-Yers, and it took 2 of us just about 4 hours to complete. It looks great - all metal parts (screws) are on the inside (less rusting problems) and has been through several days and nights of pretty constant rain and stayed dry inside. We would definitely recommend it to friends (in fact, we have already done so) and will certainly entertain buying another one in the future as our needs change.

The shed is very nice. It is roomy and solid. Assembly was lengthy even considering I had provided a completely level area with a gravel/sand base. The directions sometimes seemed innadequate and it took about 7 hours not counting the shelves and hangers on the inside. It was a great buy, but don't count on putting it up in a few hours.

We recieved the shed in less than two weeks and the guys dollied it up the driveway to the site. The packaging was perfect and the instructions were quite clear. The materials seem very sturdy and everything fit together nicely. To be redundant--MAKE SURE THE PLATFORM IS PERFECTLY LEVEL AND CHECK IT DURING INSTALLATION. It was a present for my daughter and she loves it. Now I get my garage back. It took two of us about 8 hours after the platform was built and leveled.

GREAT PRODUCT. TOOK 3 PEOPLE 4 HOURS TO INSTALL IT. EVERYTHING FIT TO A 'T'. I PROBABLY SPENT AN EXTRA HOUR ASSEMBLING THE DOOR HARDWARE AND FRONT GABLE THE DAY BEFORE WE ACTUALLY PUT THE BUILDING UP. I ALREADY HAD A SLAB POURED. THE ONLY THING NOT IN THE DIRECTIONS WERE THE EXACT MEASUREMENTS OF THE SLAB. I HAD TO CALL CUST SERVICE AND GET THAT.

I recently made my first purchase from “Sam’s Club” and I am pleased to say that in all aspects of the transaction, the experience was without a flaw. Now that is saying a lot these days, given the normal quality of products ordered on-line and vendor delivery services in particular. I was most pleased by the responsiveness of the merchant, the efficient processing of my order, and the fact that “Sam’s Club” met their commitment to deliver the product as ordered, without damage, and on-time. The only thing missing was the assembly of the “Lifetime Outdoor Shed” which was a small challenge for this senior citizen as discussed in the next paragraphs.
The assembly plans for the “Lifetime Outdoor Shed” are easily understood and clearly written. As other buyers have noted you will encounter a glitch now and again but nothing of any major consequence, except perhaps if you make the same bad decision that I made and do not to invest the time and effort necessary to build a solid and level platform for the shed as recommended by the manufacturer.
On the other-hand if you do what is really necessary at the outset you will miss out on the opportunity to atone for that omission down-stream when form-fit-and-function really matters.
The “Lifetime Outdoor Shed” will assemble very nicely even if the platform on which is rest is less than level. A little shimming here and there as noted by other installers will get the job done very nicely. But during the process you will ask yourself several times will I ever learn to follow instructions, and stop looking for a short-cut.
I am most pleased with the result, and while should I ever buy and build another, be assured that I will build a level and stable platform upon which I will assemble the shed.
Best of luck with your purchase, and rather you follow the “Lifetime Outdoor Shed instructions closely or not, I believe you will be most pleased with the result.

Picked it out without seeing it, but then discovered it at a big Home and Garden store which convinced me to buy it. Price at SAM's MUCH lower than store or Manufacturer. Made in USA is GOOD. Read previous reviews to see how long to put it up, type of base, etc. Decided to have a concrete base although the floor provided is good. Assembly went fairly well, with only a few "head scratcher" reviews of the instructions. Partner who did much of the work used a power screwdriver on LOW ratchet, which worked well - DO NOT USE A HIGHER TORQUE. Is all I expected and then some. spacious, lots of headroom (I am 63"), airy with the vents and window. Window is a little too simplistic with the plastic "glass".
