This big container of Taco Seasoning is a great buy! We use it alot, so its more economical than buying individual packets.
It has great flavor and makes just about any main dish better!

Delicious and Versatile seasoning, 02/04/2009

The Tone's Taco seasoning label caught my eye for its "no MSG." I initially prepared ground beef for taco meat to be used in the preparation of super nachos for the concession stand during basketball season. It was such a hit, we expanded the menu to include Taco Salad and "Walking Tacos" for variety. Today, I tested a delicious and easy crockpot recipe for the boneless skinless chicken breasts I bought from Sam's Club. For each pound of chicken, I added one cup of Swanson Chicken Broth (also purchased at Sam's Club) with 3 TBSP. of Tone's Taco seasonings. Place poultry in the bottom of the crockpot, sprinkle with the seasoning, and pour broth over the top. Cover and cook on low heat for 6 hours. I was skeptical that the meat would be tender, but it pulled apart with two forks like premium pulled pork---tender, juicy, and perfected seasoned for chicken soft tacos or Chicken Taco Salads. It is a great product to have on hand, and is economical and easy to prepare with your favorite recipe. Several months ago, there was an in-store product demonstration using the product and recipe suggestions that I have not yet tried, but again, it is one more way to use this product in soup or appetizer recipes.
