Way too sweet!,

We did not care for this potato salad much. It is way too sweet. I sent my husband to SAM's to buy the red potato salad with the skins on, but he said St. Clair was all they had. I don't think I would ever buy it again. I hope they get the other potato salad back!

This by far is the best store bought potato salad. I've tried many brands that taste alright but never come close to tasting home made. This one comes closest. The texture is just right. It's not to thick and pasty. It's not to watery either. It's smooth and doesn't leave a twangy aftertaste. I like the fact that it has a bit of sweetness and nice mustard flavor that isn't very pronounced. The potato chunks are the right size. It's seasoned just right. Given the cost and the amount of time required to make potato salad at home, this definitely makes for a money and time saver. I don't think I'll ever make my own again.

Broad appeal flavor-great for picnics,

For the flavor, price, and time saved-this is a great value. The chunks of potato are small but not mushy and the flavor is a bit sweet without being overly sweet. I normally love mustard based potato salads but in a pinch, this goes over very well. Plus, it is one of those things that saves you time to prepare other things or as a great last minute pick up when you forget you were supposed to bring something for the church picnic. :-P
