I used these Hydrangeas for my wedding last June, we purchased about 120 of of them for centerpieces on the tables. I was a bit nervous to order so many and so close to the big day, but I was so pleasantly surprised how large the flowers were and how beautiful each hydrangea was. When we got them they looked a bit flattened but once we put them in the water to drink, they perked up quickly. We lost a few due to refridgeration conditions and overnight wettness on the petals. Overall, it was a great purchase!

After reading the reviews of many customer, I scheduled delivery of my Hydrangea 2 days before my effect to ensure a robust bloom. **This didn't work for me.** On the day of our event, most of the blooms had wilted, but after contacting my local Sams Club, I was offered a full refund and was able to purchase fresh flowers at the store. Although they were not hydrangea, they served the purpose.

Morning after shipment arrived!
For my daughter's wedding, real flowers were the ideal choice but too expensive from the local florists for our budget. After long internet research, I found Sam's to be the best price for the white Hydrangeas that were needed for our arrangements. I read some negative and positive reviews, but decided the price was worth the risk. The flowers arrived on time (two days before the event) and were packed with good care. They were wilted as was expected from my research. I had five gallon buckets filled half way with floral food and luke warm water ready. (My advice would be to have 1 bucket per 15 stems as they get big when hydrated!) I only had 4 buckets for 80 stems so they were a bit crowded. I cut each stem 1" placed in a florist quick dip solution (1 sec) and then into the bucket. The flowers remained in a cool room (55-63 degrees) overnight. I was very pleased to see all of them hydrating and perking back up by the next morning. I began assembling my arrangements that afternoon. What I learned after the fact: I ordered the white Hydrangeas. Even though I saw they were hydrating by the next day, i was a little bit disappointed that the flowers seemed more yellow than white. I thought maybe I had the 'antique' white instead. (shown in the picture on 2nd day). (the bride's colors were white and red, so important!) They arrived on Wed., Assembled on Thurs., and the wedding was on Friday. What I discovered is that by the end of the day Friday, (long after the wedding) and esp. by Saturday, most of the yellow had gone, the flowers were fuller and all becoming very white. Apparently the more these flowers are full of water (hydrated) the whiter they are...so because my floral foam was soaked in water and flower food, they continued to hydrate. If I had to do it over, I would have had these flowers arrive 3 days before and allowed them a full 2 days to hydrate. Other than that learning curve, I was very pleased with the flowers. I did not lose any of them due to the shipping or hydration process. Truly a beautiful flower...perhaps are my favorite after having worked with them! (p.s. Don't forget to water your arrangements by the next day, or they will die...water...water...water : )

I was so excited to find hydrangeas for such a bargain! I searched EVERYWHERE. I followed other reviews and had deliver 2 days before my wedding. 1 day would have worked just fine. Size was outstanding and quality superb. No breakage and everything was carefully packed. I ordered 60 stems total to make 12 centerpieces. Plus 24 small vases. Was perfect! Better than I thought and completely the best price out there! More than a week later and the flowers are still fresh and alive!

I read all of the reviews before I ordered these flowers. I was very excited because the reviews were awesome. But, my experience was very different. I wanted to have these flowers for my Thanksgiving centerpiece. I ordered them to arrive on Tuesday. They arrived in the morning, as promised. They didn't look so good when I opened the box, but that's what I expected from the reviews. What I didn't expect was that they never really opened up before Thursday. I changed the water and let them soak and cut off a small portion of the stems - just like the instructions said to do. By Thanksgiving (the recommended 2 day wait), some of the flowers still weren't open. By Friday, many of the stems were wilted and there weren't many that were worth keeping. I was very disappointed. I had hoped to be able to enjoy them all weekend. Maybe it would have been better if it was the appropriate season. The price would have been good if the flowers had lasted longer and looked better. But, you get what you pay for.

I purchased white hydrangeas and white roses to use as the flowers for my bridal and bridesmaid bouquets as well as for the boutonniers and corsages. The wedding was Saturday, so I had them delivered Friday (they came late in the morning) and they arrived in great shape. The hydrangeas were ready to go from the start, and the roses were ready by the following morning. We had a 3:30pm beach wedding, so we made the bouquets and boutonniers around 12pm and kept them in water until it was time for the ceremony. Everything looked gorgeous and held up well throughout the evening/night. I'll definitely use Sam's Club floral again.

Amazing,

I ordered these hydrangeas for a wedding on Thanksgiving weekend and they were amazing. They came nicely packaged, each head individually wrapped for protection and water tubes on the bottom of each stem. Heads were large and opened beautiful. Even out of water during the wedding they looked great and lasted for days afterward.

I think I used 5 or 6 hydrangeas in my bouquet.
I am so happy that I did my own flowers. I'd been considering it from the beginning but did talk to some florists as well. There was just no way I could have had the flowers I wanted without paying three times more. I bought all of my supplies at craft stores and had all of my flowers delivered on Thursday. They arrived via Fed Ex first thing in the morning, exactly as promised online. The hydrangeas were each wrapped in individual plastic sleeves with each stem wrapped in cotton and soaked in a tiny bag of water. I cut the stems and placed them in trash buckets on my covered balcony. October in Indiana is like a giant refrigerator, we just brought them inside overnight to be careful of potential frost. I ordered 60 white hydrangea, 100 hypericum berries and 225 roses. I made: my bouquet, 5 maids bouquets, 7 wrist corsages, 12 bouts, about 18 small/med. arrangements and had about a dozen and half stems left for my baker to use on my cake tiers as well. I lost very few flowers to broken stems, etc. One warning - I would not suggest using hydrangeas in the boutonnières. I only did my husband's bout with rose and hyrdrangea and redid it the morning of the wedding without the hydrangea - it had turned brown in the fridge overnight, even with the stem wrapped in wet paper towel. I know it was my own error, not lack of quality. Hydrangeas really like water, and all of the others held up perfect in the corsages. I even kept my bouquet and a couple arrangements for an extra week after I returned from my honeymoon. Will definitely order from Sam's Club again!

We bought over 100 stems for my wedding reception, they arrived right on time(thursday), with little bags of water on each stem. They were kind of smushed looking from being boxed, but the reviews i read said just take them out and let them perk up. they perked up beautifully! we cut the stems and put them in water on friday and they were GEORGOUS on saturday and sunday (when we used them again for a Brunch).

I used these for my wedding...they were beautiful! We followed directions by cutting the ends and putting them in water as soon as they were delivered. As suggested, we had them delivered on Thursday morning for a Saturday evening wedding, which worked nicely. They do use a lot of packaging, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to take care of the flowers properly. Each hydrangea is individually packaged (which is great because it keeps the flowers from being damaged), but certainly takes a lot of your time. The hydrangeas DO NOT come with flower food, so you will need to get some along with the buckets. A tip: instead of buckets, we bought some plastic storage bins, which were only a few dollars each, but held many more flowers than regular buckets...and you can definitely reuse them. We used the hydrangeas with rose & hypericum accents in bouquets, the cake, and on tables. They were absolutely beautiful in the bridal bouquet (see picture). The girl who caught the bouquet told me she put it in water and it lasted for nearly 2 weeks! We did try to use clipped hydrangeas in boutonnieres, but I would definitely not do that again. Of course, these didn't work because I lack flower experience, not because the flowers weren't quality. Some of them looked really, really sad by the end of the night (and some really early in the night!). But, they did look gorgeous in the bouquets and table arrangements. We would highly recommend these flowers! We saved a lot of money!
