I think I used 5 or 6 hydrangeas in my bouquet.
I am so happy that I did my own flowers. I'd been considering it from the beginning but did talk to some florists as well. There was just no way I could have had the flowers I wanted without paying three times more. I bought all of my supplies at craft stores and had all of my flowers delivered on Thursday. They arrived via Fed Ex first thing in the morning, exactly as promised online. The hydrangeas were each wrapped in individual plastic sleeves with each stem wrapped in cotton and soaked in a tiny bag of water. I cut the stems and placed them in trash buckets on my covered balcony. October in Indiana is like a giant refrigerator, we just brought them inside overnight to be careful of potential frost. I ordered 60 white hydrangea, 100 hypericum berries and 225 roses. I made: my bouquet, 5 maids bouquets, 7 wrist corsages, 12 bouts, about 18 small/med. arrangements and had about a dozen and half stems left for my baker to use on my cake tiers as well. I lost very few flowers to broken stems, etc. One warning - I would not suggest using hydrangeas in the boutonnières. I only did my husband's bout with rose and hyrdrangea and redid it the morning of the wedding without the hydrangea - it had turned brown in the fridge overnight, even with the stem wrapped in wet paper towel. I know it was my own error, not lack of quality. Hydrangeas really like water, and all of the others held up perfect in the corsages. I even kept my bouquet and a couple arrangements for an extra week after I returned from my honeymoon. Will definitely order from Sam's Club again!

We bought over 100 stems for my wedding reception, they arrived right on time(thursday), with little bags of water on each stem. They were kind of smushed looking from being boxed, but the reviews i read said just take them out and let them perk up. they perked up beautifully! we cut the stems and put them in water on friday and they were GEORGOUS on saturday and sunday (when we used them again for a Brunch).

I used these for my wedding...they were beautiful! We followed directions by cutting the ends and putting them in water as soon as they were delivered. As suggested, we had them delivered on Thursday morning for a Saturday evening wedding, which worked nicely. They do use a lot of packaging, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to take care of the flowers properly. Each hydrangea is individually packaged (which is great because it keeps the flowers from being damaged), but certainly takes a lot of your time. The hydrangeas DO NOT come with flower food, so you will need to get some along with the buckets. A tip: instead of buckets, we bought some plastic storage bins, which were only a few dollars each, but held many more flowers than regular buckets...and you can definitely reuse them. We used the hydrangeas with rose & hypericum accents in bouquets, the cake, and on tables. They were absolutely beautiful in the bridal bouquet (see picture). The girl who caught the bouquet told me she put it in water and it lasted for nearly 2 weeks! We did try to use clipped hydrangeas in boutonnieres, but I would definitely not do that again. Of course, these didn't work because I lack flower experience, not because the flowers weren't quality. Some of them looked really, really sad by the end of the night (and some really early in the night!). But, they did look gorgeous in the bouquets and table arrangements. We would highly recommend these flowers! We saved a lot of money!

These were beautiful, perked up after just a few hours in water. Held up over a warm wedding day in bouquets and corsages. They are a good size and mine had a slight green tint which I found lovely but is something to keep in mind if you're looking for bright white. 20 hydrangeas go a looong way. I ordered 40 but definitely could have gotten away with just 20. These are terific value and I highly recommend them.

My wedding was in Dallas, Texas and I wanted some gorgeous flowers that I could actually afford-that is when I came to Sam's Club. I ordered 20 stems of these hydrangeas, they were beautifully packed and I followed the instructions upon arrival and I did not lose even one stem. Everyone of them blossomed after hydrating and I was so pleased. I could not have been more happy. They looked beautiful in my centerpieces for the wedding. I will definitely order flowers online from Sam's again! Oh and they arrived at 10:30AM on the Thursday before my wedding.

I ordered these hydrangea's for my wedding that was on Friday, 9/25. I had them delivered on that Tuesday. I also ordered 500 red and white roses from Sam's club, which were amazing, also.
The hydrangea came in a large box, individually packed with a little bag of water with cotton around the stem to keep them hydrated during shipment. Also, each bloom had a protective wrap of cellophane around each one to protect them. I was impressed by just that.
When I started going through them, I just cut about 4 inches off of them while holding them under running water, then put them in the vase. They were all perfect, none of them were broken. They did look a little "smushed" when taken out of the box, but after a day of being in the vases of water (which I mixed with the flower food that came with them), they ALL rehydrated and were "plump" and full, I would say they were about 5 inchs across.
By the time Friday rolled around, they were still absolutely perfect. When we put them in the arrangements, I cut the stems to the height I needed. They were extremely long when we got them, but that is good because you can do more with them.
At the wedding/reception, I got so many compliments, no one believed that I did the flowers myself and that they came from Sam's Club. They were the best!!

The hydrangeas arrived 2 days prior to my wedding and were beautiful!! We cut them and put them into arrangements the next day, a few of them had some brown edges at that time, not a big deal because I had ordered extra. Most of them were still gorgeous a week later. I would definitely purchase them again! I was told (after the wedding) by a friend who has owned a flower shop, that she was really nervous when I said I was going to have hydrangeas because of how tempermental they can be, but she even commented on how gorgeous the flowers were!

we ordered these flowers to make wedding table centerpieces. Were extremely pleased!. they were delivered right on time as scheduled. Each long stem was wrapped in plastic and was in a water filled plastic baggie. We followed directions from other reviewers and trimmed the stems and put them in buckets of water. They opened some more and became huge. these were not the upgraded hydrangea, just the normal ones. The blooms have lasted over a week now, longer than the hydrangeas in the (expensive) florist made arrangements. We would highly recommend anyone ordering these flowers & trusting that they'll be perfect!

We requested a Friday delivery for a Sunday wedding. Ordered 20 hydrangea, 125 roses and 70 gerbera daisies. Arrived at 8:30AM!! It took around 1.5 hours to get all of our flowers cut and in the sanitized buckets of water. Followed the directions exactly and did not have a single lost flower! The hydrangea are still looking great 10 days after delivery! I would suggest a new pair of clippers - it would make the process go much more quickly. Will definitely order again.

I ordered the hydrangeas for a baby shower luncheon. They arrived Friday morning, the shower was Sunday afternoon. Arriving on time, just a wee bit dehydrated, I followed the instructions for their care and preservation. I went to shower, and when I looked at them an hour later, they were magnificent. They were a hit with the mother to be and all the guests. I just threw them out yesterday, they lasted for over a week. I will never hesitate to order bulk flowers from this site again. I am hosting my son's rehearsal dinner next, and will order all the flowers from Sam's.
