Better than hardwood,

Prior to purchasing my laminated flooring, I requested 2 samples sent to me. They were a little "pricey" with the shipping charges, but well worth it once I saw them. I chose a Blonde Oak and used the ordering guidelines on the website. I also purchased the quarter round and the 4 in 1 moulding. The price was half that of the popular lumber and home improvement stores and although the shipping charges were high, I still saved about 30% as compared to the other stores. The floor is now down and it looks fantastic. I now wonder why I didn't do this a lot sooner. The flooring makes my living room/dining room look as if I have totally remodeled. I plan on putting this flooring in my 3 bedrooms and hallway.

This was an excellent product and delivery was extremely fast. I would recommend this to anyone. The one disappointment is the cost of shipping. I wish this was available at the club or that shipping could be to the club to keep the charges lower.

Durable, nice texture, easy to install, attractive,

We installed this product in our dining room in 2006 and liked it so much we extended it into the kitchen a year later. We needed flooring that would withstand our dog's claws and not show the dirt like our previous flooring (white berber carpet and white linoleum). The blond oak color is perfect for this purpose.
The flooring is tough - our dogs claws do not scratch or blemish it. The raised texture resembles real wood (unlike other laminates that look like photos of wood). It is soft to walk on due to the foam backing.
It installs in a breeze, we finished a 20x12 dining room in 2 days and a 12x10 kitchen in one day. You can click and snap boards as fast as you can move across the room - only saw cuts around corners or heating ducts will slow you down.
The most time-consuming flooring task did not involve the laminate. It was using a miter saw to install baseboard molding around the perimeter of the room after the laminate was down.

Installed this in 3 bdrms - great product and very easy to install. Clean up is a breeze - no mopping needed - just a baby wipe! The coating does make it a bit slippery with just socks. We were considering replacing our real oak floor with this because it is so much easier to maintain. Love, love, love this stuff!
