Do NOT upgrade -,

I have used this product for 2 years. It makes even less sense to me now than it did when I bought it. If you are used to any previous version of Word, Excel, etc., you will HATE this product. Buy an older version or use free resources available on the internet.
For examples, the first time I needed to print it took me 15 minutes to find where MS hid the print menus. If you want to double-space, same thing. If you want to change the margins, same thing. Nothing seems to be where it used to be and nothing is intuitive.

Excellent Purchase,

I purchase Office Home and Student 2007 for my granddaughter who goes to college. All of her school work was for Office 2007. Her pc at home was not compatible to her work at school. To keep her for not having to stay behind for her school work. I found this product at Sams Club on line. The installation was very easy. My granddaughter just loves it.

I've enjoyed using Microsoft Office Home and Sudent 2007. It is different from Word and PowerPoint that I have used previously, but with a little practice (and patience) I'll be a pro at it in no time. PowerPoint has some new features that I really like.

It doesn't take as long as I thought to get use to the new "ribbon" arrangement, although I still find myself having to hunt for certain features.
One Note is an interesting program for taking notes and organizing thoughts.
The one bad thing is that it does NOT work with older versions of Outlook.

The product works just fine. However, Microsoft had to put a new 'face' on everything which does not improve usability but just makes existing features and functions difficult to find. Once you get past that learning curve though, things work as they should.

I love this program. I am a teacher and it is great for making tests, review sheets, handouts, worksheets, etc. It is now compatible with my work computer so I can send my Word documents back and forth between computers. Love it - been wanting to get it for over a year!

Great value Microsoft Office Home and Student,

My laptop came with a free trial version installed so I was familiar with the product. I was able to purchase and actually own the CD so I could install it on my other computer) for about $50 less than the Microsoft price for a license to continue to use the trial version. It installed easily and works well. I am very happy.
