would choose over MANY "PROFESSIONAL" Sets,

I have used almost every type and brand of so called "PROFESSIONAL" grade cookware... my wife and I consider ourselves foodies and we are both into cooking. I would say that we cook an average of five nights a week, entertain monthly where we cook and WE LOVE THIS SET.
Between the two of us - we have had Caphalon, Circulon, etc etc - just about ALL of the coveted high end professional cookware sets over the past ten years.
These pots and pans are by far the best value one could ask for... high quality that rivals the best - good looks - decent design and features - and hold up well. PLEASE NOTE - we do not put our anodized pots and pans in dishwasher - this will significantly shorten the life of these and all anodized pans.
hand wash and you will get 10 years out of these babies!
buying set for my parents to replace a much more expensive set i bought for myself and them years ago !

Rivals any I've seen,

In 2007, Cunsumer's report made a Best Cookware review. It was not in the review, but a Costo's item was. Sam's had a 15 and 12 piece, but discontinued the foromer????. Eggs, even with cheese comes out. When i thought I cooked beans too long (heat too high)...they burned on the bottom. After digging the unburned off, I said OK, I found something sticks. When I took my plastic spoon to start the scrapping process, the whole thing came out in one swoop...like a thick burnt pie shell. Don't use metal utensils or cooking sprays and be sure to cure as the package says.

I'll Never Use Anything Else!,

We purchased this set in January of 2007. I cook everyday, and have yet to cook anything that would stick to these pans. I even use them in the oven for baked macaroni and cheese.
One night I cooked a batch of rice in one of the saucepans, and accidentally left the burner on. Thirty minutes later, I walked into the kitchen and realized what I'd done. I thought for sure I had ruined the pan until I tipped it upside down over the sink, and the whole burnt mess just fell right out!
My daughter never cared much for cooking until I bought a set for her, too. Now neither one of us will ever use anything else!

The value of these pans are nearly 400.00 I payed 149.00. They cook very evenly, low to med. heat, there great! Please season the pans first, it's very important! I never burn anything, they are the best pans you will ever cook on period. Clean-up is very easy, nothing sticks. Just remember to hand wash, take care of your investment and use the proper utensil's, bamboo, silicone, or nylon. never SS. I've lowered my butter, cooking oils for their non-sticking properties on these pans and eggs and hashbrowns fall out the pans, they are the BEST!

When I first got married, our original pots were really cheap and cute so I purchased them from I believe Walmart. Well, I was telling my mom that I hate cooking because I always burnt something...well, not much longer I received one of the fry pans to try, let just say I don't burn nothing...it doesn't stick...it's the best purchase I've made in awhile. I am an avid cook and I looked at a lot of different brands of cookware before I purchased this set in February of 2006. I use them every day and they are still in perfect shape. Unlike many nonstick sets, if you take minimum precautions of handwashing and no metal utensil use, the nonstick finish doesn't flake off or lose it's surface. The pans heat uniformly (and quickly!) and you can cook at lower heat settings because they conduct the heat so well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
