I bought the desk, hutch, filing cabinet and the matching Brookhaven leather executive chair is being delivered today. The best part is..... i kept holding off on purchasing the chair because it was $453.00 and now it is priced at $268.00. So i am very happy... my room looks great!!! It's a great deal if you are looking for a very nice inexpensive desk!!!

Whalen Executive Hutch,

I checked several Sam's club for the availability of this item. I found a Sams Club located in a city about 25 miles from my location had a hutch in stock. I unpacked the hutch and found interior damage on both sides of the hutch. I immediately contacted the same Sam's club and found there were 5 in stock. The Sam's club staff was very helpful, and we found 3 of 4 hutch's had the same damage. We suspect the damage was the way the sides were secured, and that they broke looses during shipping. The unit is very nice looking, and is a good value, however I recommend inspecting at the store before purchasing.

I am so gald to I was able to purchase the hutch. It compliments my Whalen desk. My wife and i keep bragging how great it looks. It is solidly constructed and the took little effort to assemble the few pieces. I was surprised how much it came preassembled. I would recommend it to anyone who purchased the desk. It has a lot of storage. Both the desk and hutch go very well with the Sherwoodbook case I bought from Sam's Club. Keep up the great deals.

Whalen Brookhaven Executive Hutch,

Unfortunately, the first hutch I ordered arrived damaged and had to be returned to my local Sam's Club for credit. It looked like someone had dropped it, and it was coming apart. I will order another one today. Despite being advertised as "solid hardwood", there is some pressed sawdust board inside the unit (not visible during normal use). This unit weighs 212 lb., so you will need a friend or two to help install it on your desk. Despite the problems I've had, it is a good unit that should give many year's service, and it looks very nice.
