I have 6 of these chafing dishes and have had them for almost a year. They are lighter in weight than I thought; yet quite durable. I was afraid that the gold accents would lose their color, but after using them at least six times, inside and outside in very humid weather; they still look like new. I clean and dry them thoroughly after each use and store them in their boxes and that seems to be working for me.
If you entertain, I would highly recommend these dishes. I always get compliments; folks ask if they were rented, and they give my decor that professionally catered appeal.
