Amazing Chocolate "Dusted" Almonds,

I bought this item for the first time yesterday and am amazed at how wonderful they taste! If you like CHOCOLATE and ALMONDS, you will definintely like these. I always felt chocolate covered almonds had way too much chocolate candy around the almond--so these chocolate "dusted" almonds are exactly what I've been looking for! This is a great snack...especially for CHOCOHOLIC and NUT lovers like me! ENJOY!

best almonds ever,

Nothing like them on the market. They have a rich coco covering that packs well for on the go and is much healthier than the chocolate covered almonds. They are fantastic and sometimes hard to find. What could be better than the richness of coco combined with the goodness of almonds. Hats off to Emerald and Sam's Club. I've brought several of the large tubs and share with everyone. I haven't found anyone who doesn't like them. Please keep them in stock.

great snack when losing weight,

I use 16 nuts as my snack in mid morning and late afternoon while eating 3 meals a day with exercise and walking. The cocoa gives me my choc. fix without the fat. I love these. I have lost weigt and inches using this regimen.

I was just walking through Sam's, looked over at the other nut selections and saw this canister. I was intrigued by the name but since I am trying to eat less sugar I figured anything including cocoa and nuts had to be high sugar. So I checked the Nutrition Facts on the side - I saw only 1 g of sugar per serving ! I then ( OF COURSE ! ) checked the Ingredients they had sucralose, generic Splenda in them. Despite the biased bad press, I still feel anything in moderation is OK by me. I took these to a party and they were a HUGE hit. It actually surprised me that most people didn't know ( OR CARE ) that they were low sugar or how they tasted so good. Some friends, who were not Sam's members ( I know, ?? ) wondered if they could get them elsewhere so I checked. Online they are like $4 more for the same size @ one place ( plus $11 shipping ! ) , and one very famous place was ~$30 including shipping for the exact same size !

I'm Nuts For These Nuts,

Since I am diabetic, most snack foods are not in keeping with my carbohydrate range. Emerald Cocoa Roast Almonds fit well in my diet.
The initial flavor is chocolate, but not super-sweet; then the Almond flavor comes through.
I provided a sampling of Emerald's Cocoa Roast Almonds to my diabetes support group. Now they are hooked!!!
Another benefit is that the emptied container makes a great storage canister!!!

I thought these were great at first but I kept getting a hint of an artificial sweetener taste. However, since they were packaged as almonds with a little cocoa and NOT as sugar free or "diet" it never occurred to me to read the very fine print ingredient list. There it is. Sucralose! That totally explains the flavor and my stomach weirding out on me. Sucralose is bad stuff.
One pet peeve since I'm reviewing: FOODS that don't disclose where they are from. Just says, "distributed by...."

These are the best thing since sliced bread. Just enough chocolate to make you think you are having a real treat but it's a light cocoa dusting that isn't loaded with calories. I truly don't think I'll ever be able to eat plain almonds again.
