Fantastic Hearing Aids,

I bought a pair of Simplicity Premier 4 weeks ago. I knew I was hard of hearing and had an audiology test. I was encouraged to buy a pair of aids for $1800 each. I went on the net and nearly bought a similar pair I had tested for $1295 each. Luckily my wife received an e-mail fro Sams Club promoting the Simplicity Aids from General Hearing Instruments. I read all the reviews and as you are buying "off the shelf" I phoned the company to ask if my audiology test result would suit me. I was assured that the Premier would be ideal. I therefore purchased a pair and it was the best thing I have ever done. I was waiting for the final test - going to the theatre - before writing this report as normally I can only hear half the words. Yesterday I heard everything at the theatre. The aids are brilliant. There are four different levels you can use by pressing a button. I normally use the default (#1) but use #2 for the theatre. I paid just $719 for the pair and received 6 months free batteries and a $50 Sams Club gift card!! It really is a no brainer.

I submitted a review shortly after I purchased a pair of these hearing aids that was never published. The value is so good I decided to resubmit the review.
I learned about and purchased these hearing Aids online at Sam’s Club.com. Prior to purchasing these, I tried two different sets of hearing aids from hearing clinics; one set was $4,000.00 and the other was $6,000.00. I returned both sets after four and six weeks respectively, because I could not tell they helped my hearing.
I was waiting for the hearing aid clinic to call me whenever they found another brand they thought might help my hearing when I discovered these. My hearing loss is in the high frequency range.
I saw these advertised on samsclub.com and thought I may as well try them since they have a 90 day return policy. When I received the hearing aids, I was well pleased. There are four user adjustable volume levels; I hear best on level three. I wear glasses and have no problem with using them together as one reviewer said. The batteries seem to last the same as other hearing aids; about a week when turned off at night when not in use.
The only down side to these is they come with only one set of batteries and one set of domes. I needed smaller domes than came with the hearing aids and there is no information as to where additional domes could be purchased.
I have used these hearing aids for more than a month now and I am very pleased; especially with the price.

Very pleased with the quality and performance of these units. Extremely comfortable compared to past units prescribed for me by major brand stores selling at much higher prices.
Could benefit with a continuously variable volume control vs the four step button. Also information on the amplification frequency response curve would be helpful in choosing these units.

GHI Hearing Aids,

Awesome experience...I'm actually asking my wife to stop "yelling" at me and can even hear the TV when others are asking to turn the volume up. This is my 1st experience with hearing aids. Went to another hearing center and they wanted $1900 for ONE ear. I got the pair at Sam's for well under $800. I can't imagine how the big $$$ units could work any better. Comfortable...easy set up....fit nicely. They WORK!!

My wife bought these for me for my birhday. I have an old fitted aid that was going bad. After pricing aids from other sources I found that the GHI Simplicity Premier Micro-tube to be the best for the money spent. I have used them now for about three weeks and have had a new hearing experience. With the aids for both ears I have much better hearing and can pinpoint sounds much better.

Didn't really help my hearing problem the way they suggested they should. Also very fragile. One fell off the kitchen table onto a vinyle floor and lost half it's volume. Changed battereys and it still didn't come back.

Very Happy With New Hearing Aids,

I received my pair of hearing aids about 3 weeks ago. One of the hearing aids had to be shipped back with a problem. It was corrected and shipped back (took about a week). The company service department was very helpfull and corrected the problem. I enjoy wearing the hearing aids and they seem to work very well. This is the first pair I have ever worn. The price was much less than similar products I investigated. I am glad Walmart and Sam's club is finally driving down hearing aid costs. Since I am paying for these hearing aids myself ---- price and quality is very important to me. I am very disappointed with the high cost of the one pair of men’s size replacement micro poly tubes and domes for Simplicity™ brand OTE hearing devices. The company recommends replacing them every 3 months for about $34. I researched on the internet and found similar products for much less.

My original review is listed under the right ear purchase option. However, I am so pleased, I wanted to add a review for the pair. I ordered each hearing aid separately, I thought I only needed one, but after wearing both, I realized just how much I was missing. I've had to call regarding bud and tube sizes. They promptly sent me smaller replacements. Everyone has been very helpful. These come with a great return policy and wonderful customer service. I am thankful to the Customer Service Rep that originally helped me with my decision to purchase the pair and can't imagine not having them.

Theses are the best thing that has happen in our home for a long time. It is so nice to be able to hear things again. I didn't realize how much I was missing. The TV is at normal volume, my wife and I can visit in the car again and I can actually hear what people have to say to me in a crowd. I heard the "night bugs" for the first time in years. One thing I will warn you about is your voice will sound loud, I am not talking so loud and my wife says that is a good thing!

I purchased one to try out and after a couple days I purchased one for the other ear. It is difficult to describe how much better I can now hear since my hearing loss started being noticeable for about twenty years. This is the first hearing aid I have been able to wear for any length of time and when I now don't have them in I really know how bad my hearing is. Bottom line is, give them a try for with the generous return policy you can't go wrong.

I bought these hearing aids based on the reviews here. This is my first set of hearing aids. I have mild to moderate hearing loss, especially in the high range. I also have severe tinnitus. I had to contact the company for a smaller set of tubes as the ones that came with it were too long. I received them within 3 days of my request. I use them at work and in noisy situations. I don't use them at home or in the car. I find that they have a tinny sound quality on some sounds. Voices, however, sound great. My Mom has a set of micro tube aids that she paid $4,800.00 for. I tried hers and they sounded just as tinny and had feedback. I have not had any feedback from the Simplicity Premier aids. I am quite happy with my purchase.

Simplicity hearing aid,

I was pleasantly surprised with the sound restoring ability of these hearing aids. Higher sounds are amplified so that, for my ears at least, I can hear up to 10k cycles from a low of 3k in one ear without the aids. Background noise suppression is not bad and would probably rival that of the more expensive units of the major hearing aid makers.
Instructions are simple to understand and apply and the units ARE built very simply with no on/off switch. Rather, to turn off the units one simple opens the battery cradle.

I purchased a pair of hearing aids. One quit working in less that one week and had to be returned for repair/replacement. Received the unit back in about two weeks. Its been about a month now, and the other unit is not working properly. It still functions, but the volume does not adjust properly. It will need to be sent back for repairs. This brand is not a trouble-free device.

A good value for the price but the instruments have limits. Not frequency adjustable and battery life is short. Since they are behind the ear, fit is not a problem. Their small size and clear tubes also makes them almost undetectable.
