Cheap price for excellent heater,

Bought one of these last year. I usually get the other Lasco ceramic heater but I needed one that wasn't so large and bulky for a smaller area. I also was glad to find one at this price that oscillated. It is WONDERFUL. It doesn't take up much space in the corner. It does help heat a room. Is light and easy to move around the house, especially with the built on handle. Am buying 2 more this year, one more for me and one for my mother.

No worries with this product.,

I've had this product for 2 weeks now, and I have no complaints. It does what the manufacturer says it's supposed to do: It looks very nice, takes up minimal space, the remote is handy, it is quiet, and heats the large bedroom very well. I haven't had to turn my gas on yet, and the temps have been dipping into the 30's. The thermostat does a nice job of keeping the room comfortable, though it seems the actual temperature reading is off by a few degrees. This is a very good product, and am happy that I purchased it. I recommend this product to anyone who needs to heat a room.

Just what I was looking for,

This heater is exactly what I was looking for, something to help heat a large room, while trying to save money. I have been having high heating bills and am hoping that this will solve the problem. I don't keep it on all of the time, like I would the central unit. I keep it in the Den where my family spends most of the time.

I recently purchased 2 of these heaters and they are exceptional. I plan on purchasing 2 more for other parts of my home. The thermostat is off a little but it is easy to make the ajustment to how warm you want the room. Of all of the heaters i have purchased over the years this is by far the best.

Good Quality & Price,

I bought this to help offset the cost of gas. I have a 2300sq ft home and most of it gets heat from our pellet/corn burner, except for the back bedroom and living room. This unit keeps the l.r. and our large bedroom very warm. Great price considering the smaller ones at Wal-mart are more expensive.

even buying one for my boyfriend,

I love this heater. My boyfriend has a smaller one of the same brand, and I can tell that the height of this one makes a world of difference. Having the remote is very convenient when you want to lower the temperature in the middle of the night without getting up. It heats a single room very well. I agree with the other reviews that it probably is not best suited for multiple rooms, but it is not marketed for that so I don't see that as an issue. The price at Sams makes it a tremendous value compared to ones offered at other places. The digital readout is a huge plus. Most other models you are simply turning a dial to something that you have no idea what temperature it is actually keeping your room at.

Almost exactally what I wanted,

I hate to review something when I haven't owned it that long but maybe I can answer some questions others might be thinking. 1. It produces adequate heat for what you pay for. 2. It does have a fan that blows out the heat, not a radiant type. 3. The fan is whisper quiet. 4. Has a handy remote. 5. East to carry if you want to move it from room to room. Has a nice handle on the back and it's well ballanced.
Now for the minor con's preventing a 5 star rating. 1. The oscilation only has about a 30-45 degree radius. Not bad but I would have preferred more. 2. The automatic thermostat for "auto" mode seems to be off. This may be specific to my machine. For example, it says the room is 72 degrees but my thermostat for my central air says it's 67 degrees. I'm inquiring with the company now as to if there is a calibration that needs to be done.
Overall, it's a good heater for the money. I may get another one or maybe a smaller model for my smaller rooms.

Very Effective Heater, Very Low Price,

I bought this heater to use in my living room which is 19' x 20' (360 Square Feet). I love the fact that it oscilates which definitely helps to distribute the heat more evenly. My living room closes completely off from the rest of the house and when all doors are closed, this heater has NO problem making my living room nice and toasty (with central heating component turned off) after only about 10-15 minutes. Would definitely recommend for single space heating. Might not be best for multiple rooms. I am going back to get another one specifically for our bedroom!!
