iTouchless trashcan,

The trashcan work as it is suppose to but I think there is a defect that once I turn off the power to remove the lid to replace the trash can liner, it is almost impossible to turn the power back on. I have to hit the power botton a few times to get it to turn on again. Now, I just unplug it instead of turning the power off at the switch.

Great product!,

I've only had the product for a few weeks but so far I am impressed! I did not want a step can as they seem to break easily. This was by far the best buy I found and I like that you can either plug it in or use batteries. Great product for a great price!

Fun to use and Does the Job,

This works as advertised. It's good to have both AC adapter and battery capability. It would be nicer if the lid was larger (e.g., more oblong) but that's a minor issue. You just have to place it so that walking past it doesn't keep triggering the sensor that opens the lid. I had a pedal-style kitchen trash can prior to this (a Mainstays) with a plastic base that cracked and disabled the pedal after less than a year of use. The iTouchless looks to be much more rugged.

Not what I wanted,

I bought my first Touchless Trashcan at Sam's for $40. I loved the look of it and I couldn't beat the price for stainless steel; could have cared less that it was touchless... UNTIL, I owned it... I'll never want another trashcan for my kitchen ever again.
I bought this trashcan thinking it was the same or very similar.. It wasn't. The quality wasn't near the first one. I'm returning the trashcan and have researched to find the original. Seemingly, it was a good product because the price has jumped to over $100, but I think it's worth it.

Cheapest price I found. Delivery great. Like the AC feature, but haven't used it yet, will wait for batteries from my old bin to run out first. Nice style, and hope this one last longer than our last. A year and a half.

I purchased this product thru Sam's Club online. I received the product and it was broken. I could not get the trashcan lid to open automatically or manually with the buttons. I called iTouchless b/c you are NOT suppose to call SAm's Club. They were not appologetic and said I would have a new lid within 2 business days. It has been a week and I still have not received a new lid.

Good Purchase,

It is a very good touch free trashcan. This is my second trashcan of the same kind. So far I am very happy with it. Mess free, clean and matches color with all other appliances in the kitchen. But only disadvantage is the height of the trashcan. It is too tall and slim, so getting the trash bag out after filled it very difficult. Instead they could have made little wide.

Nice kitchen addition,

The touchless feature of this trashcan is the main reason I bought it. I like the fact that you don't have to manually open a lid every time you have trash to throw away. The trashcan looks nice and is easy to clean. The only thing I don't like is pulling the full liner out of it. Things like a bottle or can sometimes catches on the inner ring and the liner tears when I try to pull it out of the trashcan. I have tried not filling it as full but that doesn't seem to help. Other than that, I like the iTouchless trashcan.

Love it when it works,

It is great until you wash it. It doesn't handle water very well (I am talking about the lid). We have to wait a couple of hours - and up to 2 days to use after getting it wet. You would think it would be a bit more waterproof. Otherwise I love it.
