Great TV for the price!,

We've owned this for about three weeks now and have enjoyed it immensely. It replaced a 20 yr old 27" standard TV (that we paid almost $200 more for 20 yrs ago!) in our "Playstation-workout room" . We use itmostly for gaming and for DVDs, and couldn't be happier.
It has a great picture with little or no motion blur in the things we use it for.
It is a little short on features for a "primary" TV, such as PIP/POP etc, and the remote could use a few more buttons on it but it is really an excellent value for the price. It would be a great entry-level HDTV for anyone.

I bought this TV about 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it! The price was much less than other comparable TV's of this size and I have had no complaints. I don't care that it doesn't have PIP because I don't use it anyway. If you're thinking about getting this, don't hesitate. Great picture, great sound, good looking TV. Very simple remote and features. Definitely recommend this set!

I purchased this set at Sam's about 2 weeks ago. This thing is amazing. Beautiful color, nice and bright. You can see the image perfectly from just about anywhere in the room.
This thing had a great picture right out of the box. Great array of inputs. Using mine with UVerse, it looks crystal clear. I am actually thinking of buying a second set. This thing is really nice.

The product is an overall great value. Picture quality is good and the product is easy to use. The tv has great sound as many lcds don't. The tv however did not offer picture in picture which is a great feature and no universal remote.

My wife and I had walked away from this model in a local Walmart - where it was offered for $2 more than a more capable model. However, when we found it for less than $700 at Sams Club, we were convinced to make the purchase. And we have not been disappointed.
The colors are superb, the picture sharp, and the sound is crystal clear. There are ample controls for both the Video and Audio. And to keep little hands from changing your settings, all setting are password protected.
My biggest concern is the lack of programs in the 16x9 format of the new screen. However, we will be buying more DVD's in the 16x9 format. In spite of this, we have enjoyed the new TV over the past few days.

Good TV for $$ Lacking Features,

We purchased this LCD because we already have a Vizio 42" 720p and LOVE it. Read the options this 1080p had and thought it would be great. Price is Fantastic. Got it home and found out there wasn't PIP or POP Sam's desc. has it wrong. Remote also very basic due to lack of features, our 720p has freeze frame and zoom. PIP ETC. My Wife loves the new remote though. the only way to program channels is the auto programming feature, it took two days of reprogramming to get the TV to finally see all of the HD stations in our area. The picture is great. For the money it's a nice Set but it is short on features.

Great HDTV at a great price,

Amazing! First HDTV (bought on 11/21) and can't believe the price and quality of picture. Sound is also great on this TV. I've heard so much about sound problems with other HDTV's, not this one. I'm thinking this TV is basically the VO42L minus PIP and POP. Sam's website has those two items listed but they are not included. Also, Sam's website states 8ms response while Vizio's site says 5ms. I would agree with the 5ms based on watching some Hockey and Football over the weekend and seeing no ghosting. Picture is fantastic! Extremely happy!
