Smart Base Bed Frame,

I’ve had this frame for about a month. This is indeed the perfect solution in lue of a traditional frame and box spring. It is as sturdy as reported by other reviews. I am a 280 pound adult and could feel the frame’s thick wire supports thru the 8 inches of my latex foam mattress. I was also concerned about how far the thick wires of the frame support top was pressing into the bottom of my mattress. I covered the frame top with ½ inch particle board. The bed now feels as solid as laying the mattress on the floor. I bolted a very heavy headboard to the included brackets. It’s not a solid as I would like, but is defiantly adequate. Also, be careful sliding the feet over the legs, the plastic is rather brittle. All in all, I needed reasonably solid but transportable, and this fits the bill perfectly.

easy to use,

I set this up in no time without the use of any tools (I didn't need the brackets so excluding those) I am using it for a king size memory foam mattress in a small bedroom. It gives the mattress excellent support and gives me a ton of storage space underneath. It arrived promptly and was the most inexpensive model I found to meet my needs. I haven't been using it for long yet but so far it is extremely sturdy, me, my husband and our two 50lb+ dogs get on there all together and it hasn't had a problem. If it lets my down for some reason I will do a follow up to let everyone know, but so far I am extremely pleased with this purchase, I love a bargain that stands up to its claims.

What a great problem solver,

I couldn't get the standard Queen size box spring up to my second floor spare bedroom due to my tight stairway, so back it went to Sam's Club. I was very skeptical of ordering something of this nature on line but Sam's easy return policy made it a no brainer. It was my only option if I didn't want to downsize from a queen size bed. I'm so very happy I ordered it, what a great box spring system. I was able to carry it upstairs & set it up alone. It assembles by simply unfolding the two haves, then the leg braces, then installing some wing nuts. Push on the legs, turn the two sections over & secure the two halves together with wing nuts, add the pad then the mattress & your done. Easier then assembling most childrens toys. If you have questionable stairway access you'll save yourself a struggle with this product, I highly recommend it...

Good Investment,

The only reason that I give it a 3 star on overall was because of the height. The new mattressess that people buy now days are thick and because of the height of this bed frame plus mattressess I no longer can see my head board. I almost sent it back due to this but I'm tired of have either a great bed frame or cheap. It seams like there is nothing between. So now I'm going to have to look at buying a new taller headboard.

Very sturdy, and great price compared to a set of box springs. I bought this one instead of the other "better than a box spring" item because it was less expensive (half the price). Very solid, well made, and it comes withe the end pieces to attach a head/base board. The other one did not. Very pleased with purchase. Supports large sized persons with no problems.

Wish I had bought box springs instead!,

After freight, this cost the same as a box spring and bed frame. I purchased it for the under-bed storage. The plastic covers for the legs break easily, the frame assembled for a queen bed is slightly larger than a queen mattress, some metal pieces arrived bent, and quality does not match price. I wish I would have skipped this and bought a bed frame and box springs!!!!!

Quick delivery. Received the product in less than a week. Very easy set-up. I like all the room underneath for storage. Exactly 14 inches high, which makes our mattress just the right height. We are not using any box springs. We bought an inexpensive mattress and topped it with a good memory foam topper. It feels heavenly.

Solid Foundation,

Bought this originally for using with an air mattress in a multifunctional/guest bedroom.
It sets up and stores easily for that purpose but is very solid and for permanent installations the 12 leg supports and headboard brackets are much better than found on most short conventional box spring steel frames. Also a plus is twice the storage room under the bed and easier cleaning.
The unique frame cover adjusts easly for both King or Queen size. In all ways I feel it to be a solid purchase.

Outstanding value bedframe,

No need for a separate frame and boxspring mattress. Took less than 30 minutes to set up, put the top mattress on, and enjoy comfortable rest! You can use it separately for two twins, a queen, or for a king mattress with the extra fittings. A separate frame and boxspring would've cost me twice the dollars I spent on this one unit.

This is an easy frame to assemble. Arrived in the 7 business days like I was promised. Not a huge fan of the color, but I have it inside the wood frame that my mattress used to sit in. I didn't like having to dispose of the metal parts that were included in the kit to make it into a king size bed frame. the screws were also just randomly tossed into the box, but amazingly they were all there.

My order arrived in about 7 business days. When I opened the box all of the screws and other small pieces came falling out. Luckily they were all there. The color of the frame is a ugly tan/goldish color but once you cover it with a bedskirt you never know. It serves its purpose wonderfully. There was a little rust around the edge of the frame but you come to expect that from metal so it was no biggie. I have my boxspring sitting on top of the frame so my bed sits extra high. Also I was pleasantly surprised about all the space underneath. Overall I rate the Product and A although the packaging could definitely use some improving.

We purchased this for a memory foam mattress and love the construction. GREAT alternative to the traditional box spring! Easy to assemble (took my husband 10 minutes) and it's taller than a traditional set up and leaves so much space under the bed for storage. We live in a condo so extra storage space is a plus!!
