Read all the reviews about the mattress and also compared it to Costco's memory foam mattresses. The price was about half of Costco's. It arrived sooner than I expected. It had a slight chemical smell to it (like I read in reviews) but went away within 24 hours. It wasn't the "silver bullet" for my lower back and shoulder pain as some reviewers experienced but it did help. One drawback - you can't sit on the edge of the bed because it sinks. Oh yeah,and as to"intimacy" it doesn't have the "bounce" of a good old innerspring. All in all worth the money.

We tried this mattress on the recommendation of my son and daughter inlaw. We are still adjusting but my wife and I are quite pleased after one week. It hasn't been difficult to make the transition from inner spring to foam, and I have personally noticed a decrease in back and shoulder discomfort.

I just recieved my new bed from SAM'S, and i must tell you, that was the best sleep I've had in a long time. The price was just right! I did a lot of price comparing and sam's was just the rigth price. Because of the quality and the price, i will truly sleep better for the next 10 years. P.S. There was hardly a oder, and it took less than 24 hours to get to the full 10'.

Amazing mattress... we bought it about 6 months ago and are still loving it. We researched a lot before we we bought it and when we got it we were very pleased. Firm enough yet soft like everyone else has said in their review. We let it fully inflate for a full day before we slept on it...the smell bothered me for a while but went away within a few weeks. Totally worth it to buy this mattress, and what a great price!

Best Purchase EVER!!!,

OMG! I don't even know where to begin. We purchased this item about 3 weeks ago and we are LOVING it. As other reviewers mentioned - it comes in one heck of a small, but heavy box. Which made it easy for us to take it into the upstairs bedroom. After opening and watching it magically inflate which was almost immediately. We decided to leave ti for about 2 hours (about 7-8") and sleep on it that night. In total, it took about 24 hours w/out sheets to fully inflate (10"). It does have this tea tree oil type smell to it, but it went away within 2 days and it didn't' bother us sleeping.
All I can say is WOW! This mattress is the best purchase we've ever made. I recommend this to everyone. We actually sleep most of the night, its not hot and best of all no pain in the morning. It provides the best support. For those of you that are wondering if you sink in. You don't. It's firm enough to support you, but soft enough to relieve any pressure points. We are now looking at getting one for our daughter.

Great bed!,

My husband likes a firm mattress, but I prefer a soft one. We both like this mattress! It's definitely firm, but it's still very comfortable to me. I also like it because his movement doesn't disturb my sleep. The mattress does smell a little at first, but we slept on it the first night anyway. I would definitely recommend buying the Smart Base for a bed frame (also available from Sam's Club). We ended up buying it after trying to put this mattress on our old junky frame and box spring. It made a huge difference!

Best Sleep Ever,

My husband and I ordered this mattress for our first bed together. We love it. If you are used to a firm mattress, you will enjoy this one. You will sleep well without a lot of tossing and turning. I really don't want to get out of bed in the morning!
The set up was super easy. It comes in a box, and can be easily moved by two people (or one strong person).
We slept on it the first night (the instructions state to give it up to 48 hours).
Suggestion - by one waterproof mattress pad to put over the mattress itself. Then purchase another mattress pad to be able to wash it periodically. We've found this to protect our mattress the best!

this mattress has helped a lot with my back and joint pain. i need a firm mattress, but my joints display rheumatoid arthritic symptoms, so too hard is really bad, and poky mattress springs is worse. this has just enough give in the top layer to be supportive and non-irritating.
It does smell pretty strongly when you first unwrap it--i'm pretty sensitive to smells, so i let it air out 2 days and it was fine to sleep on after that. the bottom has a zipper going around it (doesn't protrude, don't worry), so i assume the cover is removable but i haven't tried. the material is soft, seems like a slightly stretchy knit. mine has bamboo on it; it's ok but i use a good mattress pad so i'm not that concerned.
i think that the relief it has provided makes it quite worth the price considering how expensive other memory foam mattresses are. i gave 4 stars all around because i've only had it around a month, so it's hard to tell if it stands the test of time. but so far i like it a lot. my husband also likes it a lot, and it's nice not to feel each other toss and turn so much--both because we sleep more soundly and because you just can't feel it like on a traditional mattress. i also tend to get really hot when i sleep and had heard people complain about memory foam retaining heat, but it's a typical southern september and i am ok on this mattress (cotton outer mattress pad on top, though)

Thought some of the reviews would have mentioned that the mattress came in a Cracker Jack Box. Literally the mattress was folded in half. Not a problem. Just a surprise. Like the mattress. Firm support with a soft feel. Still have a problem with the odor after two weeks. Not bad but you just know it is there. It is not a problem for my husband.

I bought the mattress 6 months ago and I love it! This mattress replaced a select comfort mattress that I had for the prior 10 years. I liked the mattress so much that I just bought the same mattress for my mother's birthday. The mattress is soft like sleeping on a marshmellow but it's firm and supports so well. Best sleep I have ever had,

Since I bought this mattress two weeks ago I oveslept few times - don't hear the alarm anymore. I always was a light sleeper, but it changed overnght. In the morning I feel great, no pain in my back or neck, as it used to be. It was delivered fast, in just one relatively small (but heavy) box, and it spreaded to the right size in a few minutes. No odor or smell. My old mattress pad and sheets fit just fine. I love my new mattress so much!
