Well, l /we have only slept on this mattress for less than a week. My first night was not good, but my husband liked it. My second night was better, but I would prefer a firmer mattress. We decided to give it a week and make a decision. I think that it would help if there was a rating scale for degrees of firmness-5 being very firm and 1 being least firm. That would have helped. One question, where do I return this if we decide not to keep it, at the store or mail back to wherever it came from?

I Can Now Sleep,

This is Great! Husband even likes it and thinking of getting a 12". My back was killing me so I looked into getting this, and boy did it help. Was sleeping in it the night I got it. Did NOT smell, took only 2-3 hours to unroll itself. I slept all night, not waking up 1 time. My son is looking into getting one now too.
My 9 year old dog seems to love to sleep on it too, I guess his hips feel better there when he lays down.

You Can't Get Better Than This!,

I had this shipped to my house, the shipping was speedy quick. I set this up with the "better than a boxspring" bed frame in less than an hour. The mattress expanded fully within 4 hours. I didn't notice any smell that other users have posted. I'd been looking to replace my king bed with a queen bed and this was the perfect choice. It reminds me of the bed I sleept on at Sam's Town Resort in Tunica, MS. My first night sleeping on it was pure heaven! Don't pass this one up!

I had read alot of reviews on these type of mattresses and decided to try this one by the quality it advertised. I am not disappointed at all. I did have to let it air out a few weeks, thank goodness I have a spare bedroom to let it do that in because there is a smell, but it does go away. But now that I have been sleeping on it for 3 months it is so wonderful. No more neck and back aches. I feel like I got a good nights rest.

I purchased this mattress untried. I had tried the name brands in stores and found several variations depending on foam density meaning plush to firm in feel. I expected this one to be more plush than firm however it is what i consider to be firm. The mattress inflated to full size the first day. The odor was strong however I sprayed it with Fabreeze and was able to use it the second day with the odor gone completely in about 10 days. It took about a week to get use to it as compared to my Simmons inner spring, but the more I sleep on it the more I like it. I rated quality at 4 as who knows how it will hold up, and the name brands generally have 20 year warranties however value is definitively a 5.

I read the previous reviews of this mattress and most said it was a very firm matress. I second the motion. It came nicely packeged and was a snap to set up. The smell still lingers probably because we started using it right away. It sleeps okay but will take at least 2 inches of topper to make it soft enough for me and my wife to sleep on. We are happy with the price and will like the mattress as soon as we find a thicker topper. We plan to put it in our motorhome to replace the one we have in there. It's okay for someone who likes a firm mattress.

This is the second Eco friendly memory foam mattress we have purchased from Sam's. We liked the first one so much we bought another when we moved across country and chose not to move furniture. The second is not the same as the first but quality and value are. Both are very comfortable, odors went away quickly and were not overwhelming. It's the best night's sleep ever!

Read all the reviews about the mattress and also compared it to Costco's memory foam mattresses. The price was about half of Costco's. It arrived sooner than I expected. It had a slight chemical smell to it (like I read in reviews) but went away within 24 hours. It wasn't the "silver bullet" for my lower back and shoulder pain as some reviewers experienced but it did help. One drawback - you can't sit on the edge of the bed because it sinks. Oh yeah,and as to"intimacy" it doesn't have the "bounce" of a good old innerspring. All in all worth the money.

Amazing mattress... we bought it about 6 months ago and are still loving it. We researched a lot before we we bought it and when we got it we were very pleased. Best Purchase EVER!!!,

OMG! I don't even know where to begin. We purchased this item about 3 weeks ago and we are LOVING it. As other reviewers mentioned - it comes in one heck of a small, but heavy box. Which made it easy for us to take it into the upstairs bedroom. After opening and watching it magically inflate which was almost immediately. We decided to leave ti for about 2 hours (about 7-8") and sleep on it that night. In total, it took about 24 hours w/out sheets to fully inflate (10"). It does have this tea tree oil type smell to it, but it went away within 2 days and it didn't' bother us sleeping.
All I can say is WOW! This mattress is the best purchase we've ever made. I recommend this to everyone. We actually sleep most of the night, its not hot and best of all no pain in the morning. It provides the best support. For those of you that are wondering if you sink in. You don't. It's firm enough to support you, but soft enough to relieve any pressure points. We are now looking at getting one for our daughter.

My husband likes a firm mattress, but I prefer a soft one. We both like this mattress! It's definitely firm, but it's still very comfortable to me. I also like it because his movement doesn't disturb my sleep. The mattress does smell a little at first, but we slept on it the first night anyway. I would definitely recommend buying the Smart Base for a bed frame (also available from Sam's Club). We ended up buying it after trying to put this mattress on our old junky frame and box spring. It made a huge difference!

My husband and I ordered this mattress for our first bed together. We love it. If you are used to a firm mattress, you will enjoy this one. You will sleep well without a lot of tossing and turning. I really don't want to get out of bed in the morning!
The set up was super easy. It comes in a box, and can be easily moved by two people (or one strong person).
We slept on it the first night (the instructions state to give it up to 48 hours).
Suggestion - by one waterproof mattress pad to put over the mattress itself. Then purchase another mattress pad to be able to wash it periodically. We've found this to protect our mattress the best!

this mattress has helped a lot with my back and joint pain. i need a firm mattress, but my joints display rheumatoid arthritic symptoms, so too hard is really bad, and poky mattress springs is worse. this has just enough give in the top layer to be supportive and non-irritating.
It does smell pretty strongly when you first unwrap it--i'm pretty sensitive to smells, so i let it air out 2 days and it was fine to sleep on after that. the bottom has a zipper going around it (doesn't protrude, don't worry), so i assume the cover is removable but i haven't tried. the material is soft, seems like a slightly stretchy knit. mine has bamboo on it; it's ok but i use a good mattress pad so i'm not that concerned.
i think that the relief it has provided makes it quite worth the price considering how expensive other memory foam mattresses are. i gave 4 stars all around because i've only had it around a month, so it's hard to tell if it stands the test of time. but so far i like it a lot. my husband also likes it a lot, and it's nice not to feel each other toss and turn so much--both because we sleep more soundly and because you just can't feel it like on a traditional mattress. i also tend to get really hot when i sleep and had heard people complain about memory foam retaining heat, but it's a typical southern september and i am ok on this mattress (cotton outer mattress pad on top, though)
