My 10 & 12 year old kids helped me carry the TV from the truck to the basement family room, and within 20 minutes we had it out of the box and enjoying HDTV! We went to the store to buy a competitor's 55" version, and then saw the Samsung next to it with a far superior picture (clear, bright & sharp) and bought it instead. Glad we did!

I was expecting my tax return back on the 5th and my wife had already given me the go ahead to upgrade our old DLP to a new LCD of my choice. After hours of reviews and research, I bought the Vizio 47 LED on Saturday. I returned the Vizio on Sunday morning of the Super Bowl exremely disappointed with the set. I saw the Samsung on display and noticed it had been put on special at a good discount. I figured I would take it home and see how I liked it. Well, it's been two weeks now and couldn't be any happier with my choice. The colors are gorgeous, the menu is easy to navigate and it looks great in my living room. The picture is lifelike on HD sporting events, which is my main purpose for getting the tv. Great buy!!!!

I've purchased other Samsung products from Sam's Club and have been very pleased with those. I am extremely satisfied with both the quality and price of the Samsung 52" LCD HDTV. Speaking with customer service and getting a status on shipment from Sam's Club was quick, courteous and easy. The experience with VESA, the shipping company was pretty much the best I've ever had. They scheduled delivery promptly, called ahead 30 minutes prior as agreed, and appeared just ahead of time in a clean, professional vehicle driven by a courteous and professional driver. The cost of shipping was miniscule. Overall I had an outstanding buying experience.

Just purchased the Samsung 52" LCD HDTV and the picture is great. I had purchased a Sony Bravia 46" the week before and didn't like the picture quality and returned it for the Samsung. The picture is clear and sharp with easy adjustments for your personal preference. The TV doesn't have features I would expect for the price such as Picture-in-picture. ect. Still a great TV.

Excellent Set, Great Buy,

I did a lot of research before getting an HD TV, and looked at this set in the store for several weeks before making my final decision. It looked great in the store, and looks great in my home. The colors and blacks are vivid. I was concerned and them pleased when I saw my old VCR tapes and standard DVDs on it, as I had heard so much bad about HD TVs being able to play them, Though they might not be as good as HD DVDs, I liken it to watching old black and white westerns on color TVs - you expect it not to be quite as good. However with this TV I am very pleased with how my tapes an older DVDs look. The main reason I ended up getting this set at Sams included the price being a little better than equivalent models at other stores, but their warrenty and how they stand behind their products was the major factor in my final decision. I didn't need or want all the internet connectivity, etc. higher models offer, but wanted a good HD TV to watch TV and videos, and this fit the bill perfectly. Great Set - Buy It!

Replaces a 42 Philips that we loved...Until we watched thus one!!! It (the Philips) has been relegated to the gameroom. The colors are crisp vibrant and exact. The blacks are BLACK and can see all the details in the shadows, which is good as it seems most movies these days are all so dark. The motion is smooth and fluid. Animations are exact with accurate "lines" as well as almost seeming to jump off the screen. No "jaggies" or shimmering broken lines. Did extensive research as well as viewing lcd's and plasma's in all the stores. Chose this one at Sam's as it didn't have what I don't want everything I do for a price that was quite less than the 630 with in my opinion a better picture!!! The "toc" is grey and I feel looks much better than red. If you are considering this set GET IT!!! YOU WON"T REGRET IT!!!!

This LCD TV is Outstanding!,

We replaced a 2 year old 50" Panasonic Plasma (which was already dying) with this advanced design LCD. We had always ignored the LCDs and thought them to be inferior in comparison to a plasma, WRONG ! This new 52" Samsung is so outstanding that my wife and are in awe !! The detail, brilliant colors, the three dimensional effect makes ordinary programs POP, it appears the people are going to walk into our family room. This model is listed as having a touch of RED, not accurate, Sams version of the updated 650 model has a slight charcoal effect, so don't let that deter you. We did our homework on this one and couldn't be more pleased. Even the menus are simple to use and we had ours up in about 15 minutes. If your store has one, it is most likely hooked up to a low resolution feed, but even without good quality input, it's obvious that it outshines any other brand on Sam's shelf ! Get one and you won't regret it.
