Like many of the other reviewers, I too had been looking around for just the right stand. Only in my case it’s more like storage for DVD’s and the theater equipment, receiver, blue ray, center speaker. I have the widescreen mounted on wall and needed something short enough to fit under it… This item fit the bill, it was just perfect and like many of the other posts, it really does look quite high end. I paid $338 (tax & S&H) But then again what else is out there for that price with these dimensions that looks as nice. It was easy to set up; pay close attention to directions ( they aren’t real accurate)I had the center dividers flipped upside down (my own fault) and it cost me a little time to disassemble and put it right- no big deal for 10:30 Sunday night… OH yeah, I used a torx bit instead of the allen wrench it worked really well. Don’t over tighten! Just get it, it looks very nice and is solid

This is very nice quality and design. The main trouble is the lack of ventilation holes and only one center hole for wires. Really nothing a drill couldn't fix but it is advertised as a audio/video console giving one the impression it was ventilated and had adequate holes for wires. overall a very nice piece of furniture and we are very pleased.

I purchased this tv console to put under my 50" Panasonic TV. Since the console is 60" long, it is perfect! Holds my Panasonic stereo equipment and now has the hole in the back panel to let all wires go through. It only took about 1 hr. (or less) to put together, no problems! Quality is very good and price excellent, I would totally recommend this to anyone. I looked for 1 year for something of this value and couldn't find it - most products just were sturdy enough and all wood was just too expensive. This is very sturdy, looks great, looks like solid wood.

We love this console. The quality is very good-solid wood pieces, easy to assemble and exactly as advertised. We had a hard time finding one in the length and depth and height we needed for our tv, but this was a perfect fit and looks great. I only wish there were coordinating pieces of furniture to go with it, like a desk, coffee tables, etc.

The only problem in any area the I had was the assembly directions were totally wrong. It said turn the unit upside down to assemble the bottom. The bottom will not fit from the upside down position, you must lower the bottom piece from the top of the unit, turn it on it's side and assemble it that way.

Product was as advertised and constent with previous reviews with one exception. Previous reviews indicated there was no hole in the back of the cabinet. That has been correctet as the unit we recieved did have a hole for passing cables through (in center section, not in side section). We'd purchase it again if we had to do it over again.

We recently purchased this media console and were pleasantly surprised with its look and quality. It comes partially together out of the box and the remaining assembly was quick and easy. Just make sure you think ahead of each step and you'll be fine. The only con we found (and it's minor) was that it doesn't have premade holes in the back of the side compartments for component cables but we were able to puncture our own w/out issue.
