These roses were ordered for my daughter's sweet 16 "Music and Roses" themed party. The order came right on the date an time I specified when I ordered them. The directions online were really good, only thing I would tell people is make sure you have a bucket big enough to hold all your roses...looks can be deceiving! Everyone said the roses were beautiful and it made our event a great one. Please remember that your credit card is charged only when your roses are shipped....I was unaware since I had ordered these roses months before, that my card had not been charged back then....overall great flowers, awesome price!

This tipe of roses are the best, they always come nice. You do need to order some extra because some of them were broken and some were not freash. I ordered about 1500 roses, so I had a lot to work with, and I used about 500 of them just for the patels, so used not so nice ones for that reason. If you are ordering less quntity then you need to consider that not all of them are going to be perfect.

But I ordered 500 roses to be delivered on 9/22 for my wedding on 9/25.
The roses arrived in good condition, they were in bunches of 25. They of course needed to rehydrated because they had been without water for 24 to 48 hrs.
**Keep in mind that the rose buds are going to arrive tight/closed, and that you have a lot of prep work to get them ready for your event.**
First I prepared a bunch of water with floral food (that is included, but I bought extra from another floral company).
Then I unpacked one bunch (25 roses in a bunch) at a time, (I left them wrapped together for 24 hrs.), cut the stems under running water, and then put them in large buckets and vases filled with floral food/water.
I left them to rehydrate for 24 hrs, and they started to look much better than when they had arrived.
After that 24 hrs, we began the long task of prepping the roses. 500 roses took 3 of us about 6 hrs to do.
Prepping (with some pointers/hints) included:
Removing the "guard petals", which are the protective, ugly petals on the outside. I also removed petals that had little black spots, too, because I'm picky like that, lol.
Removing leaves that would be under water. The leaves will decay and contaminate the water if you don't remove them.
Trimming the stems under running water, at an angle. Buy a good pair of floral shears so you don't mash the stems. If a rose's head is "limpy," recut the stem. When the head droops, that means that the head isn't receiving water, ususally caused by a mashed stem.
You can also dethorn the roses that are used in handheld bouquets. The easiest way is to buy rose gloves and bend the thorns off. You can use the shears or a knife, too, but it is more time consuming. As far as roses in centerpieces/arrangements, you don't need to remove the thorns. It shortens the lives of the flowers. We left the thorns on all of them.
After a couple of days of rehydrating them, we did the bouquets and centerpieces. The roses opened up beautifully and they smelled sooooo good!
At the wedding, eveyone complimented the flowers. They couldn't believe that I arranged them myself and that they came from Sam's Club. I would definitely suggest to any DIY bride to use Sam's Club. The price and quality was excellent! As long as you are up for a little work, you just can't beat these roses!

We bought 250 roses for my September wedding. They were beautiful! If I ever need to order large quantities of flowers again, I will definately get them from Sam's. They came at the promised time (Thursday before a Saturday wedding), and were packaged perfectly. We followed the handling instructions from the website and they were fully opened by the time the reception came around.

I purchased these roses for my wedding in July and they were just beautiful. They arrived right on time almost down to the minute. I was hesitant at first because they ship dry, but was more than surprised when they arrived several days after being cut in perfect condition. The color was a stunning deep red and not one stem was broken. They looked fantastic in all the pictures and I had tons of compliments on them. You can't beat the great price for the quality. I shopped all around and this was by far the best buy.
