-Plenty sturdy without being too heavy. -Large without being too bulky. It's not cheap but it's not going to stand up to people trying to stand on the lid or anything like that. The lid is light and easy to lift without being flimsy. Not the best trash can you can buy but it is probably the best for the money.

Trash Container that Foils Pets,

"Harmony" our 10 month old female Bichon puppy taught T.D. our 7 year old Bichon male how to knock off the top AND tip over our swing top Rubbermaid trash container that had served us so well for over 12 years. Commercial containers were generally ugly and expensive. This gem is indoors/outdoors, attractive, simple locking lid and locking hinged top, easy to fill,easy to empty and uses standard 30 gal draw string bags. Reasonably priced, quick delivery, and my wife assembled it in short order. Dogproof. Whats not to like!

I had been looking for this product and found Sam's Club to be the best buy for the money. I put it together myself and put it on the deck along with my other Suncast products. I put a 33 gallon trash bag in it and it works well and looks good too. Would highly recommend it.
