We purchased this mattress for a Murphy Bed after reading another review that had done the same thing. I was a bit worried that it might end up being "rock hard" like beds at some "budget" motels. Not so - it is firm, but not too firm and when two people lay on it, it doesn't force the sleepers toward the center. Very comfortable! The "white glove" delivery was a definite plus, since we have back problems and couldn't have carried a mattress into the house ourselves.
Overall - a good value for the price.

Softer than Assumed,

I don't think I'll ever buy a mattress online again. The description explained this mattress as a firm mattress with a pillow top. I personally don't find anyting whatsoever firm about this mattress. You can't even sit on the side of the bed without squishing all the way down. My husband likes it but if you prefer a truely firm mattress - this is not it.

I purchased this mattress as a christmas gift for my daughter and son in law who live 375 miles away. It was delivered professionally and the mattress was a great surprise. I am told it is very comfortable and they are very happy with it. I could not find anything of comparable quality in the local stores that could be delivered such a distance from my home

a great purchase,

i bought this mattress after a endless and relentless comparison of many mattresses, myself i weigh 250lb and my spouse is 220lb, i am pleased with this product thus far and feel i made a good choice. this mattress has passed every expectation that i have, and i can't really see where i will have any problems any time soon. the delivery was timely and the guys were very polite and brought meaning to the sam's white glove treatment.

I bought this because I wanted a plush top bed that wasn't too soft and it's perfect. I have a platform bed so I didn't need the box spring. The price was very reasonable and the quality is great... just what you expect from Serta. I would call this bed a medium in firmness. The Eurotop makes it softer but the underlying bed is pretty firm so you get the soft feel plus great support for your back! The free shipping was a plus. The drivers brought the mattress right to the bedroom, unwrapped it and placed it on the bed. Much more convenient than buying in a store and arranging pickup!
