lacking durability and warranty,

This set has a great price, compared to seemingly similar cookware. However, after a few years of careful use the durability and quality of construction come into question. I'm replacing mine with another brand after learning that the lifetime warranty insuring my "complete satisfaction" doesn't apply to warpage that renders these pans useless. I've only ever used plastic utensils, washed them carefully by hand, and not exposed them to extreme temperature changes - quality built cookware would not warp under these conditions, yet I'm told that this defect isn't covered by the warranty.

After 13 yrs I'm buying a new set of these.. the ex-husband got them in the divorce. They have held up great .. way better than calaphon that I have owned and much cheaper!!! Oh yeah.. My oldest daughter bought a set a while back and has loved them as well! Don't sweat the handwashing.. it only takes a second to protect your investment and probably less time than it would take to figure out where to put it in the dishwasher.

One of the pots was dented. The pans are only oven rated for 350° F. I returned them and went for the Faberware which was oven rated for 500° F.

Phenomenal Buy!,

This set would be a great set at twice this price. It has all the sizes one would need to cook any size meal. The glass lids are a huge improvement over many sets that have stainless lids. The glass lids have a stainless rim, so you still get the stainless edge of holding in heat but with the convenience of glass. One can see how things are cooking without lifting the lid. Durable, even cooking, and attractive! In addition, it is made in the USA and has a lifetime warranty.
As far as a former poster rating it low because it requires handwashing, an informed consumer would know that the majority of hard anodized cookware must be handwashed. Putting it in the dishwasher will ruin the outer finish. They clean up like a dream, and the lids can go in the dishwasher, so what's the problem?
Words of advice: handwash, DO NOT spray nonstick cooking spray in them (why anyone would spray nonstick cooking spray in a nonstick pan is beyond me, but it will ruin the interior), and season the pans as is recommended in the instructions. Many high-end cookware requires seasoning.
If you are looking for a perfect, hard anodized cookware set and prefer to keep your money rather than giving it away to a "name brand", buy this set! You will not be sorry! I love, love, love mine!!!!

I have a set of Members Mark pans that is an older version of this product. I received them as a Christmas present several years ago. They have a solid metal lid and different handles. But I can say that this product is the best set of cookware that I have ever had. So what if you have to hand wash them, they are worth the effort. I would recommend them to anyone and I can say that they would be very good for use in a restaurant. They are very good for anything you can think of cooking. I love them!

I bought a set of these a couple of years ago and she loves them. So do I. In fact, two of our children are getting a set this Christmas. I hope they don't read this review. :) As for the review about hand-washing the pans; just like the other reviewer, we would do that anyway.

Great set of nonstick cookware,

I bought this to replace a set of wearever nonstick that was about 7 years old.
Regarding the fact that you must handwash this cookware- I thought all nonstick pans required handwashing. And it really is nonstick, so it takes very little effort to clean, AND there's more space in your dishwasher for stuff you'd rather not handwash.
A great range of sizes, and it's oven safe to 350 degrees. I worried the all-metal handles would get hot on the stove, but have not found that to be the case. So far I've had no need to reach for a potholder to lift the lid or turn the pan.
Highly recommend this product.

Beware! This set is HAND WASH ONLY!,

This appears to be a very good looking set of pots and pans until I brought it home and noticed at the bottom of each pan engraved "Hand Wash Only". It is also posted on the box in tiny letters in the corner. These days having non dishwasher friendly cookware is unacceptable and if it is the case, it should be openly advertised. For all I know this set could hold up in the dish washer, but if it doesn't, there goes my warranty. It's going right back to the store.
