Most awesome TV ever,

I was in awe of the quality and incredible picture of this television. It is so real you feel like you are in the same room as the people on TV. The sound was amazing. I especially liked the options for audio and video, choices for whether you were watching a movie, football, basketball or baseball game or a golf tournament. I would recommend this LED TV to anyone.

Very happy with TV,

Have had the TV two days now - and I'm very happy with it. Just watched football in HD - the picture looked terrific - almost no blurring with fast movement. Ordered it through the "Click 'n Pull" thing on Sams website - was in the store for pickup the following morning. Blu-ray disks look great on it. Price is right (a hair over 2k with tax). 5 HDMI ports. Would recommend this TV to anyone looking for something in this size range right now.

AWESOME UNBELIEVABLE BRILLIANT,

I watched reviews on this TV for several weeks, but our store kept being out of stock. I finally went to the store to ask in person when they would have it in, and behold, as soon as I walked thru the doors, there is was. They had gotten 4 in the night before, including the display. I stood in the store for nearly and hour watching it, and by the time I made my decision and the guys had it loaded on a dolly for me, there was ONE left. The picture is unreal! It was sooo easy to hook up - I did it all myself. The sound for me is perfect - I have it set on the "Rock" setting and I don't have any intentions of a hm theater syst. I can see how one would enhance the experience, but for me personally, the TV's sound is plenty strong enough as it is. The HD picture - well I just can't say enough about it, but it looks and feels like there are other people in the room with me. Regular DVD's are incredible so I can't imagine what BluRay movies look like. If you're debating on whether to purchase this TV, put your fears to rest and grab it the second you can because they'll be gone very quickly. I've had it 3 weeks now and no probs at all. One note - I drive a Tahoe and it would not fit in that - you'll need a cargo van or truck to get it home.

Home Theater Cornerstone,

I saw this television at sam's while I was searching for a blu-ray player. It made me think that maybe I should upgrade my tv as well. I did research on this tv as well as others after I got home. A couple of hours later I was on my way back to sam's to buy this tv. I couldn't be happier with my decision. It was easy to set up (less than 20 mins) and I was watching Over the Hedge like I have never seen it before. This morning I watched it on my old 42 inch LCD and was blown away by how much better the LED picture is. I am having the blu-ray player delivered today and I can't wait to see what blu-ray's will look like on it. I have had this tv a week and it still amazes me every day.

The picture is incredible, HD jumps out like 3D. Blacks are excellent, detail is phenomenal, nothing in its price range compares to it. Blu ray movies are the benchmark when viewed on this tv, images are smooth, sharp, more of a film like quality. Bottom line, no need to look at other tv's, just buy it, you can't go wrong with this one!

Seriously unbelievable, especially at this price!,

I do not even know where to begin with this TV. There are not enough words to describe the sheer joy this TV will bring you. I bought this TV to replace a 4 year old plasma TV of near the same size. This Vizio makes it look like it was 25 years old! It is amazingly clear and crisp. The motion blur is non-existent (disclaimer: I am not a gamer and have not hooked any gaming system to it). Football games, Dark Knight, and brilliant colored shows (Burn Notice, Friday Night Lights, etc) are unbelievable! I actually got goose bumps when I first watched shows on it. Even non-HD channels/shows look tremendously better. This TV has limited glare from the 4 windows in the room where it is, a big problem with the previous plasma. The sound is very good for a TV speaker; I have been using it w/o surround until the new 7.2 receiver I bought gets here. It can fill a room and even while loud doesn't vibrate or bleed over itself. The only con to me is the housing. The shiny black has some glare, and then the silver for the speaker just doesn't fit in. Both are minor annoyances and would not even remotely dissuade my purchase. Lastly, true to my title, have you looked at the price?? I am pretty much cheap and will search for days on end to find the best product at the best price. My first priority is price followed closely by quality. I know I found the best price and feel like I found the best quality.

Awesome TV,

Just brought this set home. It was worth waiting for. I hate doing connections and praying that they work....it was not an issue. Fired up my cable box, fired up the Vizio, and we watched Stargate Universe. The picture was really almost too good...I was blown away. My son is a media technology student and said that the lack of blur is almost distracting to him.

This tv has stunning picture quality. The LED backlighting allows a much more brilliant picture with truer colors. 240hz Smooth Motion makes for a very smooth, sometimes 3D-like picture. Smart Dimming works well - creates a visibly higher contrast ratio.
As soon as I saw this in the store, I felt it was better than the previous 550, which was good too. This one was worth waiting for. I have other Vizio's, all good, but this one beats them all.
