over all a great purchase,

I bought this table because it was cheap and I have a large family so I needed more seating. I love it. it's solid wood and the finish is really beautiful. putting it together took some time but it was easy. I was a little worried that the table would be a little small for 8 chairs but it's not we have plenty of elbow room. I'm so happy we went with this table. We went to several furnature stores before deciding on this table. price was nothing compared to this. the least expensive we found was $800 with the seating that we needed. now that we have this table together you can tell that it is better quality than the more expensive ones we looked at at the furnature stores.

I like the height , chairs easy to get in and out of Sturdy The white paint of the chairs tends to come off when chairs are pushed in on the edge of the table Very pretty and brightens up the room. Hope to have for years to come Very happy I purchased

Amazing Table,

I was so excited to have finally found a table that was like this online. I was at first a little hesitant buying it because I didn't see it in person first, but I am so glad I bought it. The price is a steal! My husband worked in a high end furniture store in college and he just could not believe the quality for the price, even with shipping! We looked for months for a table and we are so glad we held out and found this one. If you like this table then get it! I promise you will not be disappointed. I ordered the bench and two extra chairs to go at our counter island, can't wait until they get here.

This is a beautiful dining room set. The finish of the table is gorgeous. The chairs are very strong. The counter height makes it easier to sit down and get out of the chairs. Because we are always serving around the children, we have to get up a lot. The high table also great for family games.
Overall this is a great set to have in the breakfast nook or by the kitchen.
The whole set comes unassembled in 5 boxes carefully wrapped into a wooden pallet. All items are adequately protected by lots of plastic, styrofoam and carboard. Assembly takes about 2 hours, each chair requires a lot of screws and bolts, but all the hardware is provided and all you need is a Philips screwdriver. As a minor con, one of the 8 chairs came with two left legs and we had to call customer service to have the missing right leg shipped to us.

We looked everywhere for a counter height table with 8 chairs and the best we could find was around the 799 mark plus either shipping or delivery.
This table was a steal. Quality is great. Only negative is that it took about 2 hours to assemble. No because it was difficult but each chair required 17 screws/bolts.

It looks great in our kitchen. We are using all 8 chairs with the leaf in the table. It really wasn't difficult to put together. But, I am pretty handy on putting things together; however, even those who are not experienced shouldn't have a problem. It may just take them a little longer to put together.
