Excellent Quality,

I own residential rental property, so have a need for a good carpet cleaner. I had rented a Rug Doctor a number of times in the past, and was very satisfied with the performance of them. I then bought another brand, lower price cleaner and used it for a few years; it just didn't do the job, and did not hold up to the type of work I did. This Rug Doctor that I recently purchased works every bit as good as the rental units, and is made just as sturdy. I should have bought this unit years ago. With the Rug Doctor, I have been able to "save" carpets that appeared to be beyond cleaning. The unit seemed a bit pricey, but should be worth it.

Unit works great! It does move a lot of fluid through the carpet. A room that took about a gallon of fluid for our old Bissel to clean took almost 10 gallons with the Rug Doctor. It does a great job of recovering the fluid, and the result is a much cleaner carpet. Easy to use, easy to clean after use. The only downside is it is bulky to store. Well worth the money.

They were right, I had just cleaned my office carpet with my Hoover, but going over them with the Rug Doctor brought up a ton more dirt. Really worked well on getting stains up on one of my rentals. I thought I would have to replace the carpet, but now it looks good.
Down side.. it's heavy, and the water tank (holds solution) is small. You have to keep refilling it every 10 minutes. I just brought a big extra bucket of water in so I wouldn't have to run back and forth filling the tank.

This is a great carpet cleaner, we cleaned all our carpets and our couch and chairs with this the day we got it, the only draw back is the loud motor ( the power is why it works so good) but I just pop some ear plugs in and go to work. It made our carpets smell fresh and feel so clean.

I finally got a one. I always rented the Rug Doctor for years. When I saw that you could finally buy one, I knew I had to get one. Works just like the rented ones. I like the fact that I can clean one thing at a time and put it away and get it out another day and do maybe just the couch or one rooms carpet. When you rented, you had to clean everything in 24 hours and you never got all what you wanted to get done.
Great for cleaning the car, carpets and furniture. I like using the Rug Doctors cleaning products I think the odor remover gives everything a nice clean smell I wish they would sell that in a big bottle.

I used my new steamer, and was very pleased with it. It really got up almost all of the water. Carpet dried real fast. It made my carpet stand up like new again. I found it very easy to use. This thing just plain works! It is by far the best carpet and upholstery machine I've found (and I've had several).
It is easy to fill, easy to use, easy to empty and easy to store.
One thing that attracted me to the possibilty of buying one was the fact that this is the exact machine as the rental Rug Doctors, except it is blue instead of red. Since the Rug Doctor machines are in constant rental use, they simply have to be built tough - and they are!
The liquid injection works great, and by far the most powerful suction I've ever seen.
Although it was expensive, it was worth every penny.
