What's the big deal anyway?, 11/17/2009

I see very little difference in how my computer programs run now with Windows 7 on board. It does take longer now for my computer to start up than it did with Vista. The graphics and pretty colors are nice, but they are not worth the price. And the added "features" of Snap and whatnot seem gimicky at best. Again, not worth the money. If have not noticed any stability problems with Vista (or with 7), but I am not a computer wizzard. I did have to get upgrades for many of my other programs so they would be compatible with Windows 7. So, all in all, I don't see the need to upgrade to Windows 7 and would not suggest anyone else do so. Save your money and ignore the hype!
